more like misled. you went 25000 miles and an injector died, it's not the shops fault whatsoever. telling you that the newer old style injectors were a remedy to ethanol was misinformation, but i don't think that constitutes as ripping a customer off; maybe he was misinformed. really why would he knowingly lie and install old injectors instead of new ones? the price difference shouldn't have mattered to him since he charged you for the parts. then again you said he overcharged, so without knowing all the details i shouldn't assume.. anyways, you could ask the owner to explain to you his theory on the injector situation then show him some printed posts from here contradicting what he said.. either way he doesn't really owe you. get the newer injectors and take you car to bernie from now on.
